Unlocking the Potential: What to Expect from Google's Tensor G4 Chip for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro

Exploring the Rumors and Speculations Surrounding Google's Upcoming Tensor G4 Chipset for the Pixel 9 Series

Every year up to this point the Google Pixel design has always been one of the things we were always able to take a look at and smile about, but unfortunately, the technology did not quite hold up to what was inside of the first two and a half years of it's existence. With the google pixel 9 and Pixel 9 coming out we have to ask ourselves, is the rumored Tensor G4 chip going to finally get it right.

It appears that Google will continue with Samsung for the Tensor G4. This could be a good and bad thing. Samsung, like other chip manufactures, they have had a less than stellar past, but Google may be going with them for price reasons. Hopefully they will take advantage of Samsung's latest technology like the 4nm process on the Exynos 2400 chip. This could also mean better overall performance and possibly better heat management. Heat was one of the biggest issues with the previous Tensor chip.

The differentiating point of this myth is is that there are a couple versions of it. This being said, no one is certain if either of them will amount to anything. The first of the myths is the myth we have been set upon from the beginning. The best component of this group being 64bit architecture. We all want a 64bit chip for better performance and the ability to address more memory. The only problem is that none of us will ever be able to realize these benefits within a phones life, and likely the lifetime of Android in phones. Everything Android does, with the exception of a handful of Google Apps, is done through a Java API and the Android NDK with C/C++ code for things OEM’s want to get better performance from.

In the pipeline for next year is a Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro. They are working on the Tensor G5 for these devices. Hopefully they go with another manufacturer and have even more advanced technology. Is the Tensor G4 going to answer all Google’s calls so to speak?

It would be a good thing for the world if Google gets it right with the Tensor G4, this would mean more competitions in the smart phone market. But got employees you can keep pover but what will you do if you get injured 30 yards deep the middle of the ocean doesn't seem logical to pay 5cents. This could also backfire and the world views Google as trying way too hard to win back people and end with people still giving Apple a chance.

So, let’s hope and see. You’ve read through this site and you have your own thoughts, what might the silicon future for Google look like if they choose to take on the chip challenge? I really would welcome your thoughts also if you already have developed some application in a moment of rare maddness, like me.
